  • Reservations will be received for all dates at any time of the year.
  • It is highly recommended that your tour reservation be made at least 90 days prior to the actual travelling date for all the festival dates.
  • All reservations to be made in written.
  • After confirmation, Heavenly Bhutan will send you the confirmation letter informing you of the proposed flight, hotels and tour itinerary. At this stage, if you need to make any changes in the conditions, Heavenly Bhutan reserves the right to make those changes and will provide you with alternative options.
  • Non confirmation of the bookings without any notice after 90 days will be treated as cancelled.
  • Itinerary is subject to change depending on the availability of the hotels and guests interest. The amendment will be made only after guest accepts the change based on hotel availability.
  • Heavenly Bhutan is very flexible for day wise sightseeing,you can choose to do anything you like while in Bhutan. However changing overnight stay is difficult once the hotels are confirmed, hotels follow very strict cancellation policy since there are very limited good hotels.
  • Any other outdoor activities taken from Heavenly Bhutan is subject to service agreement prior to taking the activities on arrival for your safety and security.
  • Change of hotels/itinerary after guests arrival is payable by guests themselves for any extra expenses.
  • All the costing are in US Dollars.
  • The cost is on per person basis for entire trip.

Day 1 Arrival in Paro - Thimphu
Fly to Paro on Druk Air from any of the city mentioned above. On arrival, warm welcome by Heavenly Bhutan representative and proceed for an hour ride to Thimphu (2,300m), the capital city of Bhutan. After lunch proceed to visit Memorial Chorten (temple) built in memory of the late 3rd King. Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley offering a nice view of the valley. Also visit the enclosure where Bhutan's national animal, Takins are kept. Thereafter, drive to visit the largest and newly built statue of Buddha offering magnificent view of entire Thimphu valley. After 5 pm, visit the fortress of Thimphu, Tashichho Dzong which houses the throne of the king. Overnight in Hotel Kisa.
Day 2 Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, visit the School of Arts and crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan, Folk Heritage Museum and the National Library. Drive to the Zilukha nunnery to meet the nuns and interact with them. Lunch in the town and thereafter, proceed to drive two and a half hour for Punakha crossing Dochula pass (3200 mts). If the weather permits one can enjoy a spectacular snowcap view of the Eastern Himalayan as well as the the highest mountains of Bhutan that stretches almost 180 degrees. Walk around the 108 stupas and continue to sub tropical valley of Punakha. Overnight in Meri Puensum.
Day 3 Punakha Sightseeing
Morning visit Punakha Dzong (fortress), which houses the most elaborated temple in the country. This is a fine example of Bhutanese rich Art and Architecture. Visit a farm house to see the kind of house that Bhutanese live in. After lunch, proceed for an hour hike to the temple of Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten which is perched on a hill from where you'll see the Punakha valley. Along the walk, we'll pass through the villages and the locals in their daily lives. Return to hotel for overnight in Punakha. Overnight in Meri Puensum.
Day 4 Punakha to Trongsa
Morning start your drive for Trongsa for approximately 5 hours passing through Wangdue province and view the Wangdue Dzong (Fortress), which happens to be the only fortress with the original roof. Continue to Trongsa over Pelela Pass at 3300m which forms the part of Black mountain range that divides the country into east and west. Enroute one could take a short break and go for a hike to the remote village of Rujubji. The drive is long but the landscape is picturesque and worth the drive. On arrival at Trongsa, check in hotel for overnight. Overnight in Yangkil Resort.
Day 5 Trongsa to Jakar
Morning visit Trongsa town and visit the majestic Trongsa Dzong (Fortress), the home of the royals and the watchtower which houses a newly converted museum. Drive pass by Yotong La pass at 3425m. En route stop over the weaving place, beside the road where "Yatha" (wool weaving) is done which the Valley of Bumthang is famous for. We'll continue to Jakar for approximately 3 hours drive. Overnight in River Lodge.
Day 6 Jakar Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Jampay Lakhang, the one of the first two Buddhist temples built in the country. Next, visit Kurjey lakhang Temple, the site where royals are cremated where one can either walk cross the suspension bridge and visit the village of Parar and Tamshing or drive there. End your day with a walk passing by the Swiss farm. Most of the activities can be done on foot. Evening stroll in Jakar town and try some local pancake and noodles. Overnight in River Lodge.
Day 7 Jakar to Phobjikha
Retrace and enjoy the drive back to the valley of endangered Black Necked Crane for approximately 5 hours drive. Black Necked Crane is one of the rare specials of the birds in the world, which migrates from Tibetan plateau to Bhutan in winters. Phobjikha valley is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers so enjoy your hike around. Take an easy valley hike to the Gompa which take about 2 hrs and called Phobjikha Natural Trail. Overnight in Farm House.
Day 8 Phobjikha to Paro
Morning visit Gangtey Gompa, the largest and the only monastery of the Nyingmapa sect in western Bhutan before continuing your drive back to Paro for approximately 6 hours. Visit the 17th century Paro Dzong (Fortress) on foot and continue walking through the oldest wooden bridge still in use. Evening stroll around the old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores and to see the lifestyle of the Bhutanese people. Overnight in hotel Gangtey Palace.
Day 9 Paro sightseeing
Early morning drive to the base for the hike up to Tiger's Nest Monastery, the most revered temple in the country that literally hangs on a granite cliff overlooking the Paro valley. It is said to be where the legendary Indian saint, Guru Padmasambhava, flew from eastern Bhutan on the back of a tiger to overcome the demons of Paro region who were opposing the spread of Buddhism. Lunch in the cafeteria. Most of the day will go on the hike as you ascend gradually taking in the breathtaking views along the way. Overnight Hotel Gangtey Palace.
Day 10 Tour End
After breakfast, proceed for short drive to airport for your departure with wonderful memories from Land of the Dragon.
