  • Reservations will be received for all dates at any time of the year.
  • It is highly recommended that your tour reservation be made at least 90 days prior to the actual travelling date for all the festival dates.
  • All reservations to be made in written.
  • After confirmation, Heavenly Bhutan will send you the confirmation letter informing you of the proposed flight, hotels and tour itinerary. At this stage, if you need to make any changes in the conditions, Heavenly Bhutan reserves the right to make those changes and will provide you with alternative options.
  • Non confirmation of the bookings without any notice after 90 days will be treated as cancelled.
  • Itinerary is subject to change depending on the availability of the hotels and guests interest. The amendment will be made only after guest accepts the change based on hotel availability.
  • Heavenly Bhutan is very flexible for day wise sightseeing,you can choose to do anything you like while in Bhutan. However changing overnight stay is difficult once the hotels are confirmed, hotels follow very strict cancellation policy since there are very limited good hotels.
  • Any other outdoor activities taken from Heavenly Bhutan is subject to service agreement prior to taking the activities on arrival for your safety and security.
  • Change of hotels/itinerary after guests arrival is payable by guests themselves for any extra expenses.
  • All the costing are in US Dollars.
  • The cost is on per person basis for entire trip.

Day 1 Bagdogra to Phuentsholing
Morning arrive Chatrapati Shivaji Domestic Terminal proceed for check in. Board the flight 5025 for Bagdogra via Kolkota (flight details will be given later). Arrive Bagdogra Airport and proceed for lunch at an Indian Restaurant at Siliguri. Proceed to Phuentsholing by road (155 km - 04 hours). Drive to Bhutan Entry Point (Keep your Passport / Adhar / Pancard ready for inspection and visa processing on arrival). Drive to our hotel and check in. Evening explore Phuentsholing on your own. Also spend time shopping in Phuentsholing as it is the cheapest market in all of Bhutan. Indian Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Phuentsholing to Thimphu
Morning after breakfast leave for Thimphu (New Road - 03 hours and 30 minutes drive). Making our first stop to visit Kharbandi Gompa. This beautiful monastery was founded in 1967 by the Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntsho Choedron. The monastery contains paintings from the life of the Buddha and statues of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Guru Rinpoche, We have a local lunch enroute. From here continue your drive up the valley of Thimphu. Enroute visit Semtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1627. Arrive Thimphu and check in at hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Thimphu sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, visit Ghonchu (Memorial Chorten) or The Memorial Chorten, is a prominent landmark in the city with its golden spires and bells. Also visit The Buddha View Point. Enter to visit the tallest statue of Lord Buddha in Bhutan. Motithang Takin Preserve: Motithang Takin Preserve, is a wildlife reserve area for Takin - the National Animal of Bhutan. Local lunch at the hotel. After lunch visit The National Textile Museum: Thimphu's National Textile Museum is worth a visit to get to know the living national art of weaving. Exhibitions introduce the major weaving techniques, styles of local dress and textiles made by women and men. National Institute for Zorig Chusum: This institute, commonly known as 'the painting school', operates four- to six-year courses that provide instruction in Bhutan's 13 traditional arts. Students specialise in painting (furniture, thangkas - painted religious pictures, usually on canvas), woodcarving (masks, statues, bowls, etc.), embroidery (hangings, boots, clothes) or statue-making (clay). Evening Cultural Programme. Witness the cultural dance of Bhutan. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Thimphu to Punakha
Morning after an early breakfast, you will check out and drive towards Punakha (70 km - 2.5 hours drive) via Dochula pass. You can get stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. Located at an altitude of 3150 meter above sea level, the Dochu La Pass is about 30 km. Away from the capital city. Chimmi Lhakhang. The Chimi Lhakang temple houses a number of wooden phalluses that the Lama had brought with him from Tibet. Pilgrims who visit the monastery receive the blessing by being struck on the head with a ten inch wooden Phallus (erect penis). The symbol of an erect penis is said to ward off evil. The monastery is also known as the temple of fertility and is visited not only by the Bhutanese but women from countries as far as Japan and United States to receive a special blessing that can help these women conceive children. These women receive the blessing by getting struck on the head with a 10 inch wooden/ ivory phallus. Lunch at a local restaurant. Also visit The Punakha Dzhong or the Pungtang Dechen Phortang Dzhong. The Punakha Dzhong is the second largest and the second oldest Dzhong in Bhutan. Punakha Dzong has played an important role in Bhutan's history. Damaged by four catastrophic fires and an earthquake, the Dzong has now been fully restored. Check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Punakha to Paro
After an early breakfast, we will be driving down to Paro (171 km - 06 hours drive) to visit on arrival Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we visit the National Museum: The museum houses some of the finest specimens of Bhutanese art, including masterpieces of bronze statues and paintings. Suitable galleries were constructed to house the extensive collections. Works of art were elegantly displayed on scientific lines. Rimpung Dhong (also known as Paro Dzhong) Rinpung Dzong is a large Drukpa Kagyu Buddhist monastery and fortress. It houses the district Monastic Body and government administrative offices of Paro Dzongkhag. Evening we try our hand at Archery - Bhutan's National Sport. Archery Competition: We divide our group in teams and have a fair and impartial competition in Archery. Many prizes to be won. Return to the hotel for Antakshari Evening. Indian Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Paro sightseeing
Morning after breakfast we spend half a day (with picnic lunch) at the Chelala Pass. Chele la (pass) is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes and the tourists favourite picnic spot in Bhutan. About an hour's drive along a thickly-forested road, is this Pass-a botanical paradise. The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Here, visitors can see cascades of wild roses; purple and yellow primulas; and swathes of deep blue iris covering the forest floor. The top of the pass bloom with rhododendrons in a variety of colours-pale pink, deep pink, burnt orange, mauve, white and scarlet.
Day 7 Paro to Phuentsholing
Morning after breakfast leave for Phuentsholing (149 km - 05 hours drive). Lunch enroute in a local restaurant. Arrive Phuentsholing and check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Tour End: Phuentsholing - Bagdogra - Kolkota - Mumbai
Early morning leave for Bagdogra Airport at 0700 hours for your onward departure flight.
